To bring green Revolution in Assam, and make a greenary Assam within 2020, the NGO started conducting Agricultural Awareness Programmes for the last nineteen years In the last financial year of 2013-14, a total number of 100 Agricultural Awareness Programmes were organised in Gaon Panchayat level VCDC in all the Districts under the Agro Climatic Zones of Assam barring Barak Valley Zone.
The Programmes were planned and organised in such a way so that a wide range of educated unemployed youths/ farmers with diverse socio-economic and agro-ecological interests could be targeted.
A total number of 125 Programmes were undertaken during the session 2013-14 imparting training under the Plantation and Crops Horticulture Programmes wherein farmers from various districts covering around 10,000 numbers participated. The training was sponsored by Central Plantation Crop Research Institute (CPCRI) and Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) of Assam Agriculture University.

Organic Farming is one of the most talked-about form in the field of agriculture in today's world. It has been gaining popularity across the globe due to its environmental friendly character. It does not affect the environment i.e., the earth, water or air unlike other forms of farming. The use of organic fertilizer which is produced out of the natural resources helps in keeping the fertility of the land intact and in maintaining the natural resilience. With the advancement of time, various scientific inventions have brought substantial technical resources to this form of agriculture. The NGO has undertaken various programmes under organic farming so as to enable the farmers to know its technical knowhow. That apart, a total number of 200 Vermi Production Units were set up in various places across the state such as Bejera, Lahoal, Khowang, Koliabor, Demow, Sonari C D Blocks etc.
A total number of 20 Educational Awareness Programmes were organized in all the districts of Assam except the Barak Valley Zone in order to provide education regarding nursery and botanical gardens to the students of High Schools and Colleges so that they become interested in gardening at their own home which can make them self-resilience to some extent.
Health hygiene of the farmers is a key area as their direct participation in the agricultural activities is inevitable. Therefore to keep the farmers healthy and productive, the NGO took keen interest and conducted various health awareness programmes in different districts during cultivation period especially in Kharif and Rabi season.
Animal welfare programmes were organized in flood affected districts of Dibrugarh, Morigaon, Dhemaji and Lakhimpur to prevent diseases of domestic animals. A total 18 nos of such programmes were organized.
Chief Engineer, Department of Agriculture had sanctioned 150 numbers of Shallow Tube Wells in Tinsukia, Sibsagar, Golaghat, Goalpara, Darrang, Nagaon and Barpeta District under Rastriya Krishi Vikash Yojana (RKVY) in 50% subsidy for Joint Liability group (JLG) members for irrigation and adequate water supply so that they can change the trend of production and produce double in a year instead of traditional single crop production.

About 300 Bighas of farm land had been cultivated with Luit variety of ahu rice under Bringing Green Revolution in Eastern India (BGREI) scheme of Govt. of India, sponsered by District Agriculture Office, in Dibrugarh - khowang C D Block. Under this programme a 3 day 'Field day' was observed where 256, 140 and 311 farmers had been participated, respectively, in these days. Here, Director of Research of AAU, Jorhat and KVK, Sibsagar, Lakhimpur, Dhemaji was involved and they provide training to the farmers about the System of Rice Intensification (SRI) programme to produce maximum yield. A certified seed production programme was also organized.
A special programme for plantation was organised to plant Horticulture Crop and Medical Plants and saplings in various schools and colleges and also Government office campuses in order to make the students and employees more motivated towards greener environment and utilise the land in their campuses properly. A total 17 numbers of such programmes were organised by the society.
Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), OIL, Duliajan sponsered training in Fish and Poultry Farming imparted by SIRD, Assam to the people of oil-field area to train about integrated farming system to improve their earning as well as socio-economic status.
120 numbers of piglets were distributed to the existing farmers in Dhemaji and Lakhimpur districts to augment their livelihood. Further, another programme was organised for the dairy farmers for fodder cultivation. About 132 farmers were participated in the said training. Fodder seeds were also distributed during the programme. This was sponsered by the District Veterniary office, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sibsagar, Kamrup and Lakhimpur.
About 18 numbers of Sericulture Training were organized in several districts of Assam, namely Tinsukia, Jorhat, Golaghat, Dhemaji and Lakhimpur. Saplings of Som tree were distributed among 30 numbers of JLG members on loan to produce Fulam Gamochas on buy-back system by the society for marketing.
Training in Nursery and Plantation were organised during the ysession 2013-14 for the upliftment of farmers in various parts of Assam. A total 35 numbers of such Nursery and Plantation training were orfanised in different districts, namely Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Jorhat, golaghat, Nagaon, Morigaon and Udalguri.
About 15 numbers of District Level Agri Fairs were organised by the NGO in different districts of Assam. The latest technologies were exposed to the farmers in such Agri Fairs so that they can use them properly in the farming process.
A Joint Liability Group (JLG) was formed by five members in the Gaon Panchayat level. Twenty such JLGs made one cluster and each Gaon Panchayat had 6 such clusters. A total of 60,750 JLGs were formed during the year. The identified JLG members were trained by experts in different domain including formation and management of JLGs, details of scientific methodology, loan component and related matters. The training were conducted at Block level as well as District level and helped the JLGs to take up various schemes under Agriculture and allied activities.
2500 numbers of people from Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sibsagar and Kamrup districts were covered to the Group Insurance Scheme under Janata Personal Accident Insurance Scheme.
KCC loan from Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, United Bank of India and State Bank of India were provided to 170 farmers from five different districts with the active support of the society so that they can prosper with agricultural activities in both the Rabi and Kharif season.
A total 200 numbers of Farmers Club were formed in the districts of Golaghat, Nagaon, Morigaon and Kamrup.
